British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS)Job DetailsClosing date: 9 August 2026Location: LondonRegion: United KingdomEmployment type: Full TimeSalary: £24,000 - £28,000About the RoleThe National Competitions Coordinator will play a key role in the delivery of the BUCS National Competitions Programme, supporting the coordination of league and knockout competitions across 24 sports and 41 competition offers. Working closely with the National Competitions Manager, you will ensure competitions are delivered efficiently through the BUCS Play system, providing excellent support to member institutions while helping to create inclusive, engaging and high-quality sporting experiences for students across the UK.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate competition administration, including team entries, fixtures, results, league standings and competition queries.Support the ongoing development and improvement of BUCS Play.Work collaboratively with colleagues, member institutions, National Governing Bodies and digital partners to ensure competitions are delivered in line with BUCS regulations and to the highest standards of customer service.Contribute to continuous improvement of competition processes, support governance and compliance activities, and assist with the delivery of BUCS events throughout the year.QualificationsExperience in sports administration or competition delivery.Proactive, organised, and customer‑focused.Passion for delivering exceptional sporting experiences and working with digital systems and stakeholders.Contact: hannah.underhill@bucs.org.uk#J-18808-Ljbffr
