We serve freight and tank car fleets across multiple industries and are committed to safety, compliance, quality, and reliable service.Job Description Railcar Repair – Conducts railcar inspections to ensure compliance and performs repairs using current procedures.Customer Support – Meets customer expectations and requirements to ensure satisfaction with the work performed.Clerical – Ensures invoicing, inspection, and work order information is complete and accurate.Maintains all certifications, including tank car welding. Demonstrates strong familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.Other work‑related tasks as assigned.General Requirements High school diploma or GED required.Mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving ability, and decision‑making skills.Proficiency with hand tools (pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, ratchets, and other equipment for welding work).Ability to perform basic railcar repairs and inspections.Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.Ongoing improvement in knowledge of railcar repairs.Ability to work in all weather conditions.Valid driver's license.Welding background is a plus.Physical Requirements Stoop for extended periods and transition from kneeling to standing positions.Wear a respirator.Lift up to 50 pounds from the ground surface.Climb ladders and work at elevated heights.Work in confined spaces.Pass the company physical exam.Why Join Our Team?
