Fleet Maintenance Supervisor – Charleston, WV

Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM start time

Occasional Saturdays as business needs require

Travel between Charleston and Pecks Mill locations required

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead our fleet maintenance operations in Charleston, WV, with oversight responsibilities for our Pecks Mill location as needed. This role provides direct leadership to a team of 11 technicians, managing daily workflow, assigning work, ensuring quality repairs, and maintaining a safe and productive shop environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proven leadership experience, and the ability to effectively manage fleet maintenance operations. This position supports a fleet of approximately 80 assets, with 95% consisting of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles, making experience with alternative fuel vehicles highly desirable.

What You'll be Doing

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
  • Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
  • Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
  • Performs mechanical duties as needed.
  • Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
  • Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
  • Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
  • Creates and submits reports as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
  • Valid Driver's License Upon Hire
