In this role, you will make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping, errands, medication reminders, and other tasks to improve the client's living environment.Available Schedules: 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM; 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM; 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM; 12:00 PM - 5:30 PMResponsibilities:Providing companionship and engaging in conversationAssisting with personal hygiene and dressingSupporting mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercisesPreparing meals and snacksPerforming light housekeeping activitiesProviding medication remindersAssisting with errands and shoppingEducating family members on safe care techniquesQualifications:MUST live within 10 miles of St. Albans, WVPrevious experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferredFirst aid and CPR certification preferredKnowledge of basic housekeeping and cooking skillsAbility to adhere to health and safety guidelinesAbility to pass background check and drug screeningExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift heavy objectsTolerant of small petsCompassionate, respectful, and ethicalHoyer lift experience preferredThis agency is independently owned and operated.
