GEV Wind Power U.S. is seeking a Traveling Lead Service Technician to support service operations across multiple wind farm sites, with a strong focus on Siemens 2.3MW turbines and additional service projects. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who can lead teams in the field while maintaining high standards of safety, performance, and reporting.Job Responsibilities Travel 100% to wind farms thought North America on an 8/1 rotation.Lead and execute wind turbine service projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standardsProvide on-site leadership and guidance to service techniciansPerform maintenance on Siemens 2.3MW turbines and other platforms (e.g., generator alignments, filter changes, and general service work)Act as the primary point of contact for site stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communicationComplete and maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and administrative tasksEnsure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory safety standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior techniciansMust meet the following requirements,have or obtain the listedrequired certifications and training (may be provided)including, but not limited to: Proven experience servicing wind turbines, preferably Siemens 2.3MW platformsMust have strong experience doing torquingand tensioningPrior leadership or supervisory experience in a field service environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholdersAbility to manage administrative responsibilities, including reporting and documentationDemonstrated ability to lead projects and crews in a fast-paced environmentPhysically able to safelyclimb wind turbines up to 120m+(400+ feet), stand, stoop, walk, crawl, crouch, lift up to 75 lbs.and generally meet the physical demands of the position.Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR required)Must be 21 years of age to be able to drive a company vehicleMust be able toproficiently read, write andspeak EnglishSatisfactory criminal background checkCertifications (Required or Will Be Provided) The following certifications or will train:GWO BST (Basic Safety Training) - fire awareness, working at heights, manual handling, first aidGWO BTT (Basic Technical Training) - electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, prefer but not requiredSiemens Basic Technician Training (Green Profile)OSHA 10 General IndustryNFPA 70E Arc-Flash Awareness#J-18808-Ljbffr
