Job Description Inventory Production Associate FlexMust be able to work from Ellenboro, Pennsboro and Harrisville locations.An inventory associate assists an inventory manager in overseeing and maintaining the plant's supply of products and equipment. Responsibilities include keeping track of all products and supplies, ensuring stock is organized, and assisting in unloading and processing deliveries.Duties and Responsibilities Counts inventory for official recordsIssues material into system from requisition formsMaintains logs of all products and suppliesChecks actual inventory against computerized recordsReports any discrepancies in inventory records to the managerReceives deliveries with use of Fork Truck, Pallet Jack, or by handLoads materials with use of Fork Truck, Pallet Jack, or by handAssists unloading from delivery truck with use of Fork Truck, Pallet Jack, or by handOrganizes inventory in store area with use of Fork Truck, Pallet Jack, or by handRestocks merchandise as needed with use of Fork Truck, Pallet Jack, or by handFiles all delivery and inventory receiptsUses inventory software to keep track of orders, returns, and supplyWrites up inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing itemsPresents inventory reports at meetings in absence of the manager and/or lead as neededEnsures the area is clean and well organizedMoves and restructures organization of products to make space for new inventoryAssists in cleaning and organizing at shift endPulls any defective product and reports appropriatelyPacks up items for return and creates shipping labelsFacilitates intercompany transfersSubmits out of stock to manager for escalationReviews shipping and receiving documents for accuracyAssists material handlers in locating itemsAssists manager in devising new ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory controlCoverage of other inventory areas as neededOther duties as assignedPhysical Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basisAbility to stand for up to 12 hours per dayAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and climbAbility to handle and manipulate tools and/or controlsAbility to work in varying internal temperaturesAbility to operate or be trained on safe operation of Fork TruckQualifications Demonstrates strong organizational skillsCan walk and stay on feet for extended periodsCan use computer inventory software and Microsoft ExcelExhibits ability to read and interpret inventory reports and packing slipsDemonstrates strong service and interpersonal skillsWorks well with a teamManages time efficientlyCan employ basic math skillsCommunicates clearly and effectivelyDemonstrates professional and polite demeanor with internal and external customersAdditional Information Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
