Warehouse Sorter

Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc is a leading logistics and distribution company committed to delivering excellence in service. We take pride in our dedicated team, and we're looking for a Warehouse Associate with Box Truck experience to join us in our mission to efficiently handle and distribute goods to our customers. As a Warehouse Sorter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for accurately sorting and organizing incoming shipments and preparing them for distribution. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly contribute to our ability to meet customer demands effectively. The ideal candidate must have previous Box Truck experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents.
• Sort and organize items based on size, weight, and destination.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
• Deliver freight to business and residential customers.
• Appliance installations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Box Truck experience is required
• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Must be proficient in the use of navigational devices.
• Appliance installation experience is required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
• The ideal candidate should have a valid Drivers license, a strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills. Forklift experience is required.
• Must be willing to submit to and pass a Background Check, MVR and Drug and Alcohol Screen.

Available Shift:

Monday - Friday: 10:30am to 7:00pm

Benefits and Compensation:

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Payrate: $18.00 -$22.00/hr
