Federal Project Manager III - Oracle Health (EHR Pre and Post Go-live Readiness)Travel: 80%OverviewThe Federal Project Manager is responsible for site-specific Pre and Post Go-Live Transition Readiness project plan management; completing deliverable status reports to the client and internal teams; coordinating activities and ownership with client counterparts; executing Transition Readiness Methodology to ensure local informatics readiness to assume ownership of EHR support; advising the client on expectations in a consultative role; and managing client communication.Roles and ResponsibilitiesManage all communication and relationships between the site and the Oracle Health Readiness TeamManage the site-specific project plan and timeline and drive local site Informatics to success in preparing them for their roles Post Go-LivePresent content and drive execution of the Readiness Support Methodology at a local levelOwn coordination of the Event Driven methodology with internal and external stakeholders for specified site(s)Work closely with internal Engagement Management Team on Deployment schedules and eventsCoordinate and manage all site call and event executionResponsible for tracking the timeline for IMS Updates to the VISN PMResponsible for tracking the timeline of PGL events for the MPR to report back to VISN PMResponsible for tracking and management of the Readiness ChecklistParticipate in internal scrums with Site Readiness counterpartsManage all site-specific risks and report back through internal Site Readiness scrumsRecommended Qualifications for Project ManagerEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, health informatics, business, or a related field (required)Master's degree in health informatics, public health, business administration (MBA), or project management (preferred)5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or EHR implementation/project management (required)Experience managing EHR transitions or post-go-live optimization efforts (strongly preferred)Prior experience working in a hospital, healthcare system, or VA environment (preferred)Hands-on experience with Oracle Health/Cerner solutions, including design, build, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization (required)Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)PMP (Project Management Professional) – if responsible for large-scale project planningCertified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) – validates informatics expertiseLean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) – if involved in process improvementChange Management Certification (e.g., Prosci) – beneficial for driving EHR adoptionCore Skills & CompetenciesProject Management & ExecutionExperience leading site-specific readiness projects related to EHR implementation and transitionAbility to track deliverables and align them with Post Go-Live (PGL) Readiness milestonesStrong understanding of Event-Driven Methodology (EDM) and transition frameworksAbility to assess current-state processes and provide strategic recommendations for future-state improvementsOracle Health/Cerner Solutions ExpertiseExperience designing, configuring, and implementing Oracle Health/Cerner solutions, including clinical and operational workflowsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve EHR-related issues, collaborating with IT and clinical staffFamiliarity with Millennium architecture, PowerChart, Orders, and other Oracle Health/Cerner applicationsUnderstanding of system testing, validation, and optimization to enhance user adoption and system performanceHealthcare & Informatics ExpertiseDeep understanding of clinical workflows, informatics principles, and site readiness requirementsKnowledge of VA and Oracle Health (Cerner) policies, contract, EHR governance, and post-go-live expectationsFamiliarity with EHR data governance, reporting, and compliance (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.Stakeholder Engagement & CommunicationExperience engaging with local site informatics teams, leadership, and Oracle Health workstreamsAbility to facilitate collaborative problem-solving between technical, clinical, and operational teamsStrong verbal and written communication skills for presenting readiness updates and reportsAbility to work across multiple internal and external teams, ensuring alignment and shared objectivesProfessional presence with the ability to foster a culture of change and adaptabilityAdaptability & Independent WorkAgile and flexible in dynamic environments, able to adjust priorities as neededAbility to work independently with minimal instruction, making informed decisions and driving initiatives forwardComfortable managing ambiguity and navigating complex challenges with a solution-oriented mindsetPositive attitude and commitment to fostering collaboration and continuous improvementTechnical & Analytical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking toolsAbility to interpret EHR performance metrics and readiness indicators to drive decision-makingFamiliarity with change request tracking, ticketing systems, and ITIL service management processes (preferred)Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread and edit content to ensure high-quality deliverablesTravel: 80%#J-18808-Ljbffr
