Nocturnist – WestVirginia academic tied hospital300 bed hospital with 20‑bed open ICUBC/BE in Internal Medicine requiredExpansion position as facility will have 4 services on nights starting this SummerNocturnist shifts are 6pm to 6 am or 7 pm to 7 amFlexible scheduling – most end up doing a week on/week off schedule or similarHourly rate: $206.00 – 13 shifts per month required equals annual income of $385,000Bonus rate for shifts 14 and 15 and any shifts over 16 total in a month if interested in doing additional shiftsIf you work 15 shifts per month the annual income is $450,000Must be able to do central lines and arterial line placementsNights have no rounding duties and average admits of 10 per night3 physicians on overnight – two admit and one does cross‑coverageDoctors cover all inpatient floors including ICUEMR EPICFamily Medicine residency in houseComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, short term disability 100% salary up to 6 months (this includes 6‑8 weeks maternity leave), matching 403B and optional 457B retirement, $5,000 CME allowance, malpractice coverage.
