Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be DoingOversee daily ready‑mix plant operations to ensure safe, efficient productionLead and support plant staff to achieve operational and quality goalsMonitor concrete quality, inventory levels, and equipment performanceCoordinate scheduling, dispatching, and customer service needsMaintain compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirementsWhat We Are Looking ForStrong leadership abilities with a focus on safety and team developmentExcellent organizational and administrative capability, able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced production environmentKnowledge of ready‑mix operations, equipment, or similar industrial processesProblem‑solving mindset with commitment to quality and continuous improvementEffective communication skills for working with customers, drivers, and plant teamsComfort with technology and systems, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PDF documentation (SAP experience a plus)Work EnvironmentPrimarily based at a ready‑mix concrete plant in Charleston, WV, with responsibility for up to four sites within a 40‑mile radiusMonday–Friday schedule, typically 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, on rare occasions there are earlier starts or depending on business needs.
