Job Details Job Location: PMC-CAC Area Command - Charleston, WV 25302Salary Range: $9.44 - $9.44 HourlyJob Category: PropertyKey Responsibilities Operates the truck in compliance with established Salvation Army standards and state driving regulations.Lifts, carries, loads, and unloads various donations to include furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.Ensures the safety, security, and accountability of the vehicle and donations at all times.Operates a bailer machine to secure, package, and bind large volumes of clothing.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions The working environment is a warehouse without air conditions and with a cement floor where a majority of the day is spent. Temperatures vary from approximately 30 degrees in the winter to 100 degrees in the summer. There is an air-conditioned room in the warehouse for the storage of equipment and office space. Position involves going in and out of the air-conditioned space into the warehouse throughout the day.Ability to lift scales, hand trucks, forklifts and dolliesAbility to meet attendance requirementsAbility to read, write, and communicate the English languageAbility to perform routine mathematical calculationsDuties are usually performed seated.
