Assembly Builder Floor Lead

What You Will Experience In This Position:

As an Assembly Builder Floor Lead with nVent Management Company, you will play a vital role in constructing premier metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. You will:

  • Serve as a working floor supervisor, engaging in the construction and fitting of components while leading all aspects of daily work activities and team performance
  • Supervise and direct employees on the floor to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Install all building components including HVAC units, windows, and doors
  • Read and interpret prints and bills of materials to ensure detailed execution
  • Finish the necessary paperwork and confirm all parts are shipped with the building
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and man lifts safely
  • Load and unload building materials with precision
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently as needed
  • Adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected challenges with ease
You Have:
  • Prior experience supervising or leading employees in a hands-on work environment
  • A proven background in construction or related field
  • Experience with assembly and installation tasks
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and handling construction tools
  • The ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of the job, including working in various weather conditions, lifting, pulling and moving heavy material, standing for long periods of time.
