Licensed Healthcare Architect

Location: Charleston, WV (preferred) or Bridgeport, WV

Compensation: $100k-$120k

A full-service architecture, engineering, and field services consulting firm with a strong portfolio across the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a full-time Licensed Healthcare Architect. The position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a positive, solutions-focused mindset, and is comfortable engaging directly with clients and project partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project design teams through all phases of design

• Prepare original architectural layouts, details, drawings, and specifications

• Review architectural documents to identify and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts

• Coordinate and integrate architectural work with other engineering disciplines

• Apply critical thinking and sound design judgment to project assignments

• Support and mentor junior staff as part of a growing team

• Manage client, owner, and contractor relationships with professionalism

• Balance multiple projects and priorities while maintaining quality and schedule expectations

• Participate in periodic travel as required for project needs

Qualifications

• NCARB Registered Architect

• Minimum of five years of relevant architectural experience

• Experience with Revit is preferred

• Familiarity with local codes and authorities having jurisdiction

• Knowledge of FGI Guidelines for Healthcare Facilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven leadership and time management abilities

• Comfort with client-facing responsibilities and healthcare design environments
