Job location: Beckley, WV
Salaried position at $69,832.03--Fulltime
Promote and maintain a strong organizational focus on workplace safety and training.
Coordinate and prepare all safety- and training-related activities, including meetings, seminars, and training programs.
Conduct safety inspections of all Parkway facilities.
Perform formal and informal investigations as directed by the Director of Field & Safety.
Conduct internal safety/quality control inspections and follow-up activities.
Develop, implement, and maintain Safety Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Track, monitor, and report safety concerns and trends.
Coordinate onsite random drug testing activities.
Conduct wrecker service inspections to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Respond to roadway incidents and road closures that impact traffic flow.
Training Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of employee training within the organization.
Facilitate and conduct training sessions.
Design, revise, and administer in-house training programs.
Research and coordinate external training opportunities and resources.
Develop and maintain employee training records.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Forecast annual training needs, goals, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate training activities with the Division of Personnel.
Administrative Responsibilities
Prepare reports, memoranda, correspondence, and related documentation.
Assist the Director of Field & Safety with special projects and operational needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
