Material Handler/High Reach OperatorService Wire Company, a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable, is currently seeking a 3rd shift Material Handler/High Reach Operator in Culloden, WV. If you are looking to join a great organization and a chance to become a part of our growing team, this may be the opportunity for you!Position Summary:The Material Handler/High Reach Operator is responsible for supporting operations by efficiently receiving, transporting, and organizing materials throughout the facility. This role ensures accurate inventory management, safe material handling, and the timely preparation of orders for shipment. Operating forkliftsincluding high reach trucksis essential, along with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:Receive and unload materialsPalletize and prepare orders for shipment on occasionWork to maintain inventory stock and an organized warehouseTransport wire and materials throughout facility on a forkliftMaintain safety standards and organized work environmentKnowledge/Skills/Requirements:Forklift operation proficiency, high reach preferredAbility to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions and directionsAbility to stand and move about facility for extended periodsAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Assistance provided as needed.High school diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or one year related industrial experience or equivalent trainingPosition Requirements:Personal protective equipment is requiredContinuous participation in company safety trainingCompany forklift operation and certificationPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Work environment is comparable to outdoor temperaturesRegularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periodsRegularly moves about the facilityRegularly lifts and moves materials up to 50 poundsOccasionally required to move up to 100 pounds by pushing, pulling, or sliding material.
