Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and technically skilled Documentation Specialist to be part of our team. This role involves creating and maintaining technical documentation related to our products, engineering processes, and compliance standards.

In this role, you will translate complex technical information into clear, accessible documentation that serves engineering teams, product users, and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with engineering, product development, and compliance teams is essential to ensure all technical documentation remains accurate, current, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation Development: Create and maintain user manuals, installation guides, product documentation, and technical reports.
  • Translate complex engineering and technical concepts into clear documentation for all audiences.
  • Develop standardized documentation templates and formatting guidelines.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and technical staff to gather necessary technical information.
  • Assist in documenting engineering specifications and product changes.
  • Support documentation needs for product development initiatives.
  • Compliance Documentation: Maintain regulatory compliance documentation, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Documentation Management: Control version updates and maintain organized documentation repositories.
  • Track documentation revisions and support internal knowledge bases and document management systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation development.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate technical information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation management tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting engineering or technology-based organizations.
  • Familiarity with documentation standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with content management systems or documentation platforms.

Work Environment
