Description

BridgeValley Community and Technical College invites applications for adjunct (part-time) positions to serve in the Academic Affairs Division. These individuals will be responsible for the instruction of credit courses and clinicals; and maintaining lab equipment/areas as assigned. These positions will also be responsible for instruction of accelerated courses when applicable.

We are seeking adjuncts to teach sections in the following discipline: EKG Technician. The standard rate of pay for a four-credit hour/four contact hour course is $2,640 per semester.
Examples of Duties

  • Instruct credit courses by identifying learning outcomes/competencies, developing lesson plans, syllabi and curriculum which establish and communicate clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects.
  • Complete required recordkeeping and grade entry for assigned courses Stay in communication with assigned Department Chair and Dean
  • Clinical arrangement and oversite of EKG students
Qualifications

EKG Technician certification from a recognized national certifying body
  • Two or more years of recent experience performing EKGs
Preferred
  • Teaching experience
  • Aptitude for using technology and innovative methods for instructional delivery.
