Builder Welder

As a Builder Welder at nVent Management Company, you will be essential to our mission of constructing detailed, high-quality metal buildings and structural components. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on bold projects, ensuring the utmost precision and teamwork within our premier team. You will:

1. Assemble and install building components, including HVAC units, windows, doors, and structural elements
2. Weld structural steel and light gauge components in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
3. Perform cutting, grinding, and fabrication of metal parts using torches, plasma cutters, and other tools

You Have:

• Proven experience in construction and welding
• MIG welding experience (GMAW, FCAW) with AWS D1.1 qualifications preferred
• Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints, tape measures, and protractors
• Proficiency in using construction and welding tools and equipment
• Capability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically fast paced tasks, including lifting, pulling, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing project needs and timelines
