Position Overview: Functional leader for defining and executing the strategy to drive supplier relationship development, operational performance, direct & in-direct procurement and sourcing projects across NSA's global operations.
Demonstrate leadership and expertise in direct supplier management functions that result in best-in-class availability and pricing to end customers, effective supplier performance and strong financial inventory performance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Leads the development and execution of NSA's Supplier Management & Sourcing strategy and operations strategy.
- Develop and maintain deep, reciprocal relationships with key suppliers
- Develop, negotiate and drive management of supplier agreements and performance standards to include terms, pricing, rebates, stocking programs and other subjects with key suppliers.
- Hire, develop and lead a strong team through positive employee engagement and effective talent management.
- Drives accountability through Supplier Management organization to ensure supplier operational standards are met or exceeded, to include certification, performance, quality assurance and compliance.
- Direct the sourcing process to support new product development
- Manage re-sourcing of items due to availability, cost, supplier health, Country of Origin, etc.
- Manage dual-sourcing of critical items to ensure stable supply and pricing
- Manage the costing updates with Supply Chain Operations and Finance to insure accuracy.
- Directly responsible for maintaining procurement practices to support accurate and appropriate inventories of raw materials and purchased finished goods.
- Lead the team supporting indirect purchasing & sourcing for all NSA facilities, including MRO / Facilities Management functions, OEM / Manufacturing Maintenance functions and capital purchases.
- Lead the development and on-going maintenance / productions of critical reporting and analytics for Planning, to include supplier forecasting, supplier scorecards, purchase trends and seasonal analysis.

Qualifications: Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Organizational Management, or other relevant field of study.
- Master's or other advanced degree in related field a plus.
Experience:
- 7- 10 years functional experience in managing external supplier relationships and / or procurement in a Supply Chain driven organization.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant leadership experience.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems and functionality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Purchase Planning and Forecasting.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to build strong, cohesive, high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the company. Strong negotiation skills.
- Functional expertise in Inventory Management / Supply Chain.
- Initiative and ability to identify, prioritize, build plans and deliver business results.
- Demonstrated success working with and through cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements: Frequent use of computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone. Frequent walking through facility, production floor, prep, warehouse and distribution areas. May stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Travel (approximately 20-30%).
Working Conditions: Temperature-regulated office environment. Occasional work in manufacturing plant & warehouse.
