Job Summary

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will manage and support all ELT jobs and ensure a comprehensive understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst. The role is full-time and the client is open to 100% remote but prefer candidates local to Pittsburgh who can work hybrid 2-3 days a week. Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US citizens will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.

What You'll Do

• Manage and support all Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) jobs to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Ensure a thorough understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping to support interoperability
• Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide solutions
• Accurately map and transform data to meet FHIR HL7 standards
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of data pipelines and processes
• Provide comprehensive documentation for all processes and procedures
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, with a focus on data management and interoperability
• Proficiency in ELT processes, FHIR HL7 standards, and data mapping
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Relevant certifications in business analysis, data management, or interoperability standard
• Knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability requirements and healthcare data standards

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards. Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

$55.00-$62.00 per hour. The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
