Description:

Join Zurich's Risk Engineering Property South Team as a Senior Property Risk Engineering Consultant. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in large property highly protected risk (HPR) while working remotely, ideally from Pennsylvania. The position requires expected travel of 25-30%.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing field risk engineering to fulfill underwriting requirements.
  • Developing and implementing customer service strategies designed to reduce loss and enhance customer operations.
  • Offering engineering support to the underwriting team by attending client and broker meetings.
  • Performing field engineering services as necessary, particularly for larger accounts and prospects in the region.
  • Delivering advanced property consultative services, including identifying significant exposure risks, investigating causes and effects of major losses, and developing property management programs.
  • Assisting in marketing Zurich's risk transfer insurance products alongside underwriting professionals and agents from various business segments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Property Risk Engineering OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in Property Risk Engineering AND
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with HPR Property.
  • Background in Property Loss Control/Risk Engineering within the insurance industry.
  • Certification as a Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
  • Strong communication and consultative skills.
  • Exceptional collaborative abilities.
  • Proven history of successful teamwork.
  • High level of proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office software.

Compensation: At Zurich, compensation for roles is guided by various factors, including office location, role requirements, skill set, and experience level. The proposed salary range for this position is $96,300.00 - $157,700.00, with eligibility for a short-term incentive bonus of 15%.
