QB Country, a nationally recognized quarterback development and athletic performance organization headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. Founded on the principles of excellence in athlete development, QB Country specializes in quarterback-specific instruction, performance training, recruiting guidance, and media development programming for athletes at all levels, from youth to professional. With training locations across multiple states, we provide structured one-on-one and small group coaching tailored to our standardized development curriculum. Our facilities are equipped with indoor turf fields, throwing lanes, strength and conditioning areas, and film study rooms featuring advanced video analysis technology. The organization is committed to fostering athlete growth through a focus on fundamentals, consistency, and character development while maintaining a professional environment. The chosen Administrative Assistant will play a critical role in supporting our operations, ensuring that we continue to provide top-notch services to our athletes as they enhance their throwing mechanics, footwork, decision-making skills, and overall athletic performance. This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about sports and wants to contribute to the success of aspiring athletes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to support the operational needs of QB Country.
  • Assist with scheduling training sessions and coordinating athlete appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records of athlete progress and training attendance.
  • Provide support for recruiting activities, including tracking athletes and outreach correspondence.
  • Handle incoming communications, including phone calls and emails, in a professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain files and documentation related to athlete training and development.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of events, workshops, and camps.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably in sports or youth development organizations.
  • Passion for sports, particularly football, with a basic understanding of quarterback training concepts.
