PACKER - AIRCRAFT INFLATABLE TECH

Monday - Thursday

6:00 am - 4:30 pm

$17.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Read and interpret data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications
• Accept units that are to be maintained from the receiving inspection process and ensure all items are accounted for and the assembly is ready for packing.
• Performs duties such as manual lifting, pulling, pushing, and tugging to repackage articles using proper tooling to repackage inflatables in accordance with OEM/CMM and/or approved data.
• Insert units into oven when necessary, working in conjunction with inspector to provide continuity in packing process ensuring that all parts and components are in airworthy condition prior to packing.
• Measure dimensions and/or use templates to verify specified dimensions or setting to meet EOM guidelines and confirm all packing aides are accounted for.
• Complete documents and forms applicable to work task.
• Carry out duties in accordance to QCM/RSM written specification and procedures.
• Ensure any relevant Airworthiness Directives (AD's) are applied.
• Check that Service Bulletins are complied with when applicable to the required task.
• Maintain working are in an organized and neat condition
• Observe and follow all safety rules and policies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Perform basic math functions
• Read, write and speak English
• Read and interpret manuals and drawing
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to read tape measure
• Must have good hand-eye coordination
• Read, write & understand English
