Job Title: Angiography TechProfession: Radiology / CardiologySpecialty: Interventional RadiologyDuration: 13 weeksShift: Day 4x10-HourHours per Shift: 10 hoursExperience: Minimum 1 year requiredLicense: ARRT, State License required (may submit with pending, but must be active prior to start)Certifications: BLS required; Vascular Intervention Certification preferredMust-Have:- First-time travelers accepted- On-call requirement: approximately 8 days a month, including 1 weekend per month- Floating required to a sister facility for 1 weekDescription:This position is for an Angiography Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology.The work schedule is 4x10 days, typically from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with an on-call rotation.Average daily patient census ranges from 7 to 10.Candidates must possess at least one year of experience in the field.Orientation sessions occur every other Monday.The candidate must have experience with PACS and must be familiar with maintaining equipment and inventory.The role includes setting up equipment, performing EKG lead placement, and preparing access sites.Candidates should be capable of recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias.Responsibilities also include room circulation, maintaining a sterile field during procedures, and using vascular closure systems.Candidates are expected to utilize sterile techniques and adhere to infection control standards.The unit focuses on various interventional procedures, including peripheral angiography/venography, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, and neuro-interventions.Please note, the candidate is required to have documentation of flu vaccination unless medically exempted.Covid vaccination is not required for this position.
