Join our team as a Senior IT Project Manager to lead impactful cross-functional initiatives that leverage your expertise in SAP IS-U and the utility sector. This role focuses on effective project governance, managing vendor relationships, and orchestrating change management efforts to support various teams, including customer care, operations, and training. You will be working in a dynamic environment utilizing agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.

Compensation: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. W2
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies.
Develop and manage critical project documents, including charters, timelines, resource plans, and risk registers.
Collaborate with internal technology teams, business leaders, and external vendors to achieve project goals.
Report project status, including issues, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and leadership.
Evaluate the impact of technological changes on both stakeholders and customer-facing operations.
Create and implement comprehensive change management plans covering engagement, communication, training, and readiness strategies.
Work closely with customer care, operations, and training teams to facilitate smooth transitions during project rollouts.
Identify potential resistance to changes and develop mitigation strategies to enhance user adoption.
Serve as a crucial liaison between product owners, delivery teams, and project stakeholders.
Identify dependencies and assist in aligning project initiatives with broader technology roadmaps.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
Proven knowledge of SAP IS-U and experience managing projects in the utility sector.
Demonstrated experience leading complex business or technology projects within utility, energy, or regulated frameworks.
Strong background in change management processes including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and training coordination.
Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and hybrid project delivery models.
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving capabilities to handle ambiguity.
Experience working in a matrixed organizational setting with varying degrees of PMO involvement.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, particularly in translating complex technical and business concepts.
Experience with tools such as qTest, Jira, SharePoint, and Teams is preferred.
Previous involvement with regulated utilities or customer-facing technology projects is an advantage.
A solid understanding of capital project budgeting and financial governance practices is preferred.
Proficient knowledge in scheduling and cost controls is advantageous.
Knowledge in construction management is also preferred.
Education:
A degree from a two-year college or university is required.
A four-year degree from a college or university is preferred.
PMI PMP or CAPM certification is preferred.
Prosci certification or equivalent is preferred.
CMII certificates are advantageous.
A Professional Engineer license is preferred.
