As the Vice President of Corporate Compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring SitusAMC's operations adhere to regulatory, contractual, and internal policy requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing tasks and activities to ensure they are documented correctly and completed on time.
Identifying areas for improvement related to activities, issues, and training needs.
Defining procedural enhancements to support policy compliance.
Conducting audits to ensure adherence to Policies & Procedures and Business Workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Information Security Department to monitor compliance with various policies and procedures.
Conduct ongoing AML and KYC checks on Clients and Vendors.
Ensure that licenses and authorizations (e.g., data protection) are current.
Monitor potential conflicts of interest, ensuring protocols are followed appropriately.
Assist in the monitoring of Gift and Entertainment Disclosures.
Manage the maintenance of insider lists, as required.
Contribute to the drafting and review of the Compliance Handbook, along with associated policies and procedures.
Act as the central repository for original documentation to be archived on-site and update the documentation tracker accordingly.
Support the completion of client information requests (via Client Audits and KYC inquiries on SitusAMC).
Facilitate the roll-out of annual compliance training and track completion.
Complete any other tasks assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant or transferable field (business, finance, or legal) or equivalent experience.
8+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in a co-lead or supportive role.
Preferred experience in residential and commercial mortgage regulatory compliance.
Compliance experience in a due diligence environment is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of US regulations.
Experience reviewing and analyzing contracts, laws, and regulations is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong analytical abilities, judgment, and a strategic mindset.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
The annual full-time salary range for this role is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00. Specific compensation is based on interviews, relevant experience, education, skills, geographic location, and market alignment. Certain positions may also be eligible for bonuses based on company approval.
