The Human Factors Engineer (HFE) Technical Leader will implement, plan, manage and/or establish HFE processes in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements to provide high quality human-centric functions in nuclear plants. This position will lead the development of a suite of Maintenance, Inspection, and Testing Procedures. Additional duties may include oversight of the design or modification of tasks, work environment, and plant interfaces based on human characteristics, capabilities, and limitations resulting in human error prevention and mitigation, as well as human performance optimization to perform operations, maintenance, inspection and test activities for existing nuclear plants and next-generation reactors.
