As an inspector, you will be contracted at a county level, responsible for completing inspections in your designated area. In periods of high demand, you might share your county with another inspector.
This position is as a 1099 independent contractor. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. While pay is structured per inspection, you can anticipate earning approximately $30-$40 per hour.
