Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location-Type: Hybrid (4 days onsite) in Boston

Duration: 1+ Year (contract)
Compensation Range: $75/hr - $83/hr

Job Description:
Lead critical IT infrastructure upgrades across multiple buildings, focusing on network and wireless modernization efforts.

This role fills a high-priority need for a hands-on project manager to ensure the success of active network infrastructure upgrades. Ideal candidates are experienced in cabling and wireless deployment, are confident navigating construction environments, and bring a strong Smartsheet and stakeholder communication skillset.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Manage large-scale infrastructure and network equipment upgrade initiatives
• Lead onsite coordination of vendors and internal teams across campus buildings
• Drive project scheduling, resource allocation, and hands-on oversight
• Monitor Smartsheet dashboards for progress tracking and risk mitigation
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and maintain strong communication flow
• Manage materials procurement and construction-related technology relocations
• Travel locally across campus buildings for onsite project work

• Must-Haves:
  
  • 5-6 years of IT project management experience in infrastructure and networking
  • Strong experience with Smartsheet for project tracking
  • Ability to work onsite 4 days/week and travel across campus
  • Demonstrated success managing cabling and wireless network installations
  • Proven adaptability in fast-paced, material-heavy environments
  • Excellent stakeholder and team coordination skills
• Nice-to-Haves:
  
  • Experience in higher education environments
  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and construction documents
  • Knowledge of BCSI Standards and cabling structures (fiber, copper, coaxial)
  • RCDD certification (current or past)
