Those presently employed or on the Cook Substitute List will be given preference as provided by West Virginia Code 18A-4-8b1. Must be 18 years of age, or older2. High School diploma, or equivalent, pursuant to WV Code §18A-2-53. Criminal Background check pursuant to WV Code § 18-5-154. Must be able to perform cook duties.5. Must hold or be able to acquire a valid food handlers card issued by the Lewis County Health Department.6. Must have one-day cook's inservice training and cook competency test if not already classified as a cook.7.
