Job Opportunity At Veteran-owned Brewery

We are seeking wait staff for our taproom. The position offers $12 per hour with pooled tips. You can work up to 32 hours per week based on availability. As a service staff member, you will be responsible for all taproom and bar operations. Your duties will include greeting customers, taking orders, accurately inputting orders in the POS system, serving customers when their orders are ready, maintaining cleanliness in the taproom and restrooms, clearing tables and bar of dirty dishes, cleaning glassware, pouring drinks, removing trash, and performing any duties as directed by the Taproom Manager. You will need to know the food and drink menu and learn basic beer knowledge. Training will be provided on the menu and basic beer knowledge. You must have an alcohol server certification recognized by the Kanawha County Health Department or be able to obtain one within two weeks of hiring. Financial assistance can be provided to obtain the proper certification. You will report to the Taproom Manager.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• A good attitude and teamwork mentality
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Learn the menu and basic beer knowledge

Preferred:

• Experience using Toast POS
• Knowledge of beer styles and flavor profiles
• Knowledge of draft systems
• Prior service experience
