Patient Experience Coordinator

Location: Charleston, WV

Overview:
We are looking for a Patient Experience Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service. This role ensures a smooth and positive experience for patients by managing front office operations, scheduling, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and provide assistance with inquiries and check-in.
  • Verify and update patient information and insurance details.
  • Process payments including copays, deductibles, and co-insurance.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate care plans.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient workflows.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service or administrative experience (medical office experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with computers and office equipment; ability to type 30 WPM accurately.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems and patient intake procedures.
