Senior Software Engineer

*Remote | EST work hours*

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Azure web‑deployed applications with expertise in React, Node.js, OAuth, and Highcharts. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our platform's front office tools.

We can facilitate W2 and corp‑to‑corp consultants. For our W2 consultants, we offer a benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay: $75 - $85/hr W2

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using React and Node.js.
  • Implement authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth.
  • Create dynamic and interactive data visualizations using Highcharts.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development.
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of applications deployed on Azure.

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Proficiency in React and Node.js.
  • Experience with OAuth for authentication and authorization.
  • Strong knowledge of Highcharts for data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment processes.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a remote team.
  • Financial services experience is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
  • Understanding of financial markets and investment platforms.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or similar is preferred.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre‑tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked‑in state/locality.
