United Talent Staffing is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented General Medical Receptionist for a part-time opportunity in the Wharton/Triadelphia area. This position works one Friday each month and is perfect for someone looking to stay active in a medical office setting with a flexible schedule.

As the first point of contact for patients, the Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. The ideal candidate will have prior medical office or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all patients and visitors in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Check in patients and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Verify and update insurance information; collect co-pays or outstanding balances.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Coordinate with medical assistants and providers to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Handle patient forms, scan IDs, and perform data entry in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
  • Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all patient interactions.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems is a plus.
