Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the integrated master schedule across multiple work streams. The position involves tracking deliverables, ensuring compliance with federal schedule standards, and supporting overall project governance to enable timely execution.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage a detailed project schedule covering ~10 workstreams, ensuring alignment with State counterparts.
• Define, update, and track predecessor/successor logic, dependencies, and key milestones across the integrated schedule.
• Ensure weekly schedule submissions comply with Federal reporting standards.
• Perform resource leveling and track performance indicators such as CPI, SPI, and BEI.
• Manage submission and documentation of project deliverables and artifacts into State repositories.
• Support broader project management activities, including risk and issue tracking to drive timely outcomes.
• Participate in and/or lead approximately 25 recurring meetings per week, plus additional working sessions as needed.

• 5+ years of Microsoft Project experience managing multiple interconnected project schedules.
• 5+ years in IT project management.
• 3+ years practical experience working through the full SDLC.
• 2+ years experience supporting enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
• 2+ years working with State Government programs.
• PMP certification.
• PMI Project Scheduler certification.

• Previous facilitation of Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
• Experience in Healthcare, EDI, or Health Information Exchange environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of MS Visio.
