Job Summary: The Therapist is an experienced, communicative, and compassionate professional responsible to support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients. In this role, you will work directly with clients to actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive ways of coping with those issues especially relating to their recovery journey. This role requires someone who enjoys working closely with people not just with clients, but also with other members of our team and occasionally outside agencies.
Qualifications and Education Requirements ● Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field ● Current with all state licensing requirements such as LPCC, LICSW and LMFT preferred ● Some clinical experience preferred

Certifications All certifications will be required to be completed prior to start date with revalidation per company's policy ● HIPAA ● Adult CPR - First Aid ● Blood Borne Pathogens ● CPI validation required within 30 days of employment with revalidation per company's policy. ● Other trainings as required
Role and Responsibilities ● Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients. ● Diagnoses, assesses, and treats mental health disorders and substance use disorders ● Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances within 72 hours (up to one hour), with weekly updates to plans (15-minute meetings) ● Individual therapy at least one hour weekly per client (14 clients) ● Group therapy at least 9 hours weekly ● Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress. ● Involve and advises family members when appropriate. ● Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary. ● Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress. ● Follow all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality. ● Routinely monitor and supervise BHTs, including behavior, boundaries, treatment of clients, documentation, ensuring job responsibilities, and be a part of the chain of command, utilize lead BHT for all issues ● Conducting written and verbal warnings with BHTs as well as supervisions when needed. Utilize lead BHT for these tasks. ● Oversee any supply and service requests by coordinating with lead BHT ● Provide oversight to all BHT activities and make decisions accordingly, enforcing OHFLAC regulations. ● Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed. ● Create group therapy and supportive counseling curricula and oversee supportive counseling staff through routine supervisions. ● Attending to necessary documentation and treatment needs regarding referrals and timeframes ● Attending meetings and trainings as assigned. ● Conducting BHT meetings at least monthly ● Perform Drug Screens
