Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Records & Data Management
* Maintain and update detailed records of leases, deeds, easements, rights-of-way, and other property agreements.
* Input and manage data in the company's land management systems and databases.
* File and organize property documentation for accessibility, accuracy, and compliance.
* Financial & Contract Administration
* Process lease payments, royalties, and surface rentals in coordination with Accounting.
* Track key dates such as lease expirations, renewal deadlines, and payment schedules.
* Prepare reports and summaries of land obligations for management review.
* Administrative Support
* Draft correspondence to landowners, agencies, and vendors.
* Assist with preparation of exhibits, plats, and maps for permits and agreements.
* Support Director and Engineer with research, document assembly, and special projects.
* Compliance & Confidentiality
* Ensure that land records meet all internal and regulatory requirements.
* Handle sensitive property and contractual information with discretion.
* Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications
* Associate degree in Office Administration, Business, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
* 2-5 years of experience in administrative or clerical roles (land or mining industry preferred).
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with land management databases a plus.
* Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner.
