About the Role

In this role, you'll help prepare, serve, and clean up meals while ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming dining experience for everyone we serve.

What You'll Do

• Assist with meal preparation and service following daily menus and dietary guidelines
• Keep the kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces clean and organized
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Monitor food quality and temperatures during preparation and service
• Set up, restock, and break down food service stations
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools to meet sanitation standards
• Help with inventory, food storage, and receiving deliveries
• Deliver friendly, helpful customer service to students, staff, and guests
• Support your team with other duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Extras

• Food handler's or food safety certificate (e.g., ServSafe)
• Previous experience in food service, cafeteria, or institutional kitchen
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages)

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time shifts available
• Morning, midday, evening, and weekend shifts as needed
