The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. is a property and casualty insurance company based in Worcester, Mass. They are seeking a Data Engineer to join their Data Engineering and Platforms team, focusing on the practical applications of data collection and analysis to support business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems
  • Develop ETL processes that ensure data quality and reliability
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Build data pipelines for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
  • Implement and maintain data warehouse solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-related projects

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL
