Clean-Up & Setup Crew Member - Local Sporting Venue

Job Description:

Manpower is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals seeking a festive part-time job in the heart of Charleston, WV to join a Clean-Up & Setup Crew for our client at a popular local sporting venue. This role is essential to ensure the venue is clean, safe, and ready for events.

?? Work Schedule:

Typical workdays:

• Weekdays: 6:30pm-12:00am

• Weekends: 3:00pm-7:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up seating, tables, signage, and equipment before events

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, seating areas, and common spaces

• Remove trash and debris during and after events

• Operate basic cleaning equipment (vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.)

• Follow safety protocols and venue guidelines

• Work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods

• Must be able to be on your feet for several hours during each shift

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude

• Dependable transportation to and from the venue

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or event setup experience is a plus but not required

Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Punctuality and reliability are essential

• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and how to use them safely and effectively

• Must pass a background check and drug test before starting
