CBRE is seeking an Energy Manager looking to grow their career in a high potential, high impact position. This role will support a large e-commerce, cloud computing, and digital streaming company to achieve their aggressive energy and sustainability goals. The scope for this position will begin by assisting the client in preparing for a large electric vehicle roll out. The role will also get exposure to supporting energy and sustainably programs, utility procurement, and energy efficiency programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Supervisory Responsibilities: No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position initially. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-works within a work unit and/or project.
Education and Experience: Education: A bachelor's in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training.
Certificates and/or Licenses: CEM or EMIT accreditation preferred
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients. Ability to effectively present information.
Financial Knowledge: Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and qualitative skills.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to write reports, manuals in a pre-designed style and format.
Scope of Responsibility: Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgement may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $110,000 annually [or $52.88/hourly] and the maximum salary for the position is $116,000 annually [or $55.76/hourly]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
