We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our UI architecture using modern JavaScript tools. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in building fast, accessible, and maintainable applications with Next.js, enhancing our design system, and driving front-end performance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create complex, reusable interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs while managing authentication flows and edge cases.
• Audit for and enhance accessibility with tools like axe-core and keyboard testing.
• Optimize frontend performance using techniques like lazy loading and Lighthouse audits.
• Maintain and expand test coverage with Playwright or similar testing frameworks.
• Contribute to shared design systems and token-based styling.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to implement user-focused features.
• Mentor junior developers and influence architectural decisions.

About You:

• 7+ years of front-end development experience, especially with React and Next.js.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript in production environments.
• Experience building fast, accessible applications at scale.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and frontend test automation.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA standards and accessibility auditing tools.
• Experience leading or contributing to component libraries and design systems.
• Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
• Able to conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Familiar with layout patterns, caching strategies, and server-side/incremental static rendering trade-offs.
• Insight into UX design principles and usability testing methodologies.

Pay Range: USD $110,385.00 - USD $157,695.00 / Year. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and location.
