As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting the Store Manager in daily operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets and assists customers positively. Answers questions and resolves inquiries.
• Maintains a presence in the store by providing excellent customer service.
• Ensures a clean, well-stocked store.
• Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assists in unloading merchandise, organizing, and transferring stock.
• Helps in ordering merchandise and record-keeping including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Supports loss prevention efforts.
• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Prefer management experience in retail, grocery, or drug stores.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Flexible, full-time availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, developing potential, results-driven, organizational, communication, problem-solving, job knowledge, and relationship management.
