Responsibilities:

  • Assess the nutritional needs of residents and create tailored meal plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress regularly.
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling for residents, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance residents' health and well-being.
  • Flexibility to provide coverage across multiple facilities as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Valid Certification/License in good standing in the state of practice.
  • Knowledge of state survey processes and compliance (preferred but not required).
  • Strong organizational and effective communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and interact diplomatically with residents, staff, and management to fulfill daily responsibilities.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • If serving multiple sites, must have a valid Driver's License.
