The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring for a full-time Floor Supervisor at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. As a Floor Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage areas at Mardi Gras Casino. Leading the food and beverage team and maintaining high levels of customer service for guests will be a crucial part of your daily responsibilities.

What will you do?

  • Advise and direct the daily duties for yourteam
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to guests visiting the property
  • Conduct regular kitchen, dining area, and bar inspections
  • Oversee the ordering and receiving of food supplies, minimizing food spoilage, and inventory control

More about you

  • No college degree required
  • Minimum of 1 year previous supervisory experience in a hospitality setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of hygiene and health safety regulations
  • Ability to ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and accuracy in a timely manner
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, dishwashers)

Physical requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
