General Description
This position is for coverage of the front desk area, to assist in securing the main entrance in prevention of resident elopements and transport residents as needed. Answer all in-coming calls and direct as needed. Meet, greet and log all customers, vendors and visitors. Monitor and log in and out resident outings as needed. Keeping watch over main entry doors to prevent elopements/exits and to monitor the safety of the residents while sitting outside. Redirect residents that may be trying to elope. Print medical appointment packets for emergency transports. Complete data entry for status changes. Central command for fire drills/other emergencies. General clerical duties, including the use of office equipment, to include typing. Computer skills are required. Performs related duties as required.
Drive state vehicles or accompany and assist residents on medical appointments/outings. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.
Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Applicants must successfully pass a background check.
