Position Summary:
The General Manager has overall responsibility to develop and execute the business unit's strategy and achieve objectives guided by the leadership values of Sauder Manufacturing Co (SMC). In so doing, the General Manager facilitates the effective functioning of the Leadership Team of the business unit to assure total customer commitment and satisfaction. This position is accountable to the President of SMC for the following outcomes:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit in meetings or at a computer for 2-3 hours at a time. The employee will also be required to walk throughout the plant at various times during a typical day. Use of hands and fingers will be required for writing, computer use, and phone use.
