We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our amazing team! This team member is responsible for overseeing/supervising the repair, upkeep, and management of the buildings and grounds of Lakin Hospital. The Building Maintenance Supervisor will provide management with an overview of buildings and grounds conditions, recommendations for improvement, as well as ensuring the facility is compliant with state building codes, the state OSHA plan, and fire and safety regulations. In this pivotal capacity, the supervisor will serve as a member of the Administrative team, Safety Committee, Quality Assurance Performance Improvement, and assist the Infection Control Committee in the development, implementation, and revision of maintenance services. The Building Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate and direct the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of buildings, machinery, equipment, and grounds. This position will be responsible for overseeing, directing, and evaluating all members of the maintenance department as well as all other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

High school diploma or the equivalent.

Licensure/Certifications:

May require specific licensure/certifications based on assignment.

Experience:

Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in general maintenance or construction work on buildings, grounds, or electrical and mechanical equipment.

Internal Applicants Only:

Two (2) years experience as a Building Maintenance Technician may substitute for the required experience.
