Transportation Engineer / Civil Engineer - Charleston, WV - JOB 25-01133

Salary Range: $90k - $110k Permanent Position with Benefits

Charleston, West Virginia Engineering Firm seeks a Civil Transportation Project Manager who has hands-on experience in the design practices an understanding of WVDOT project development process.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or MS from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering.
• Fifteen (15) years' experience.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in West Virginia or the ability to become licensed within six (6) months.
• Knowledge of civil engineering design practices and an understanding of the WVDOT project development process.
• Past experience with pursuing and obtaining work through the WVDOT Programmatic process.
• Past experience as Project Manager and successful completion of WVDOT projects.
• Experience and knowledge with AASHTO, WVDOT design guidance, CAD-standards, roadway, and right-of-way deliverables.
• Possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership and time management skills to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
• Effective meeting skills for both client and public meetings.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
