Exciting news, Kelly is currently hiring for a QC Lab Technician role - Onsite at South Charleston, WV 25303 Site!

Title: QC Lab Technician

Contract length: 12 + month

Location: Onsite role at South Charleston, WV 25303

Rotating shift: Day and night shift

12 hour shift ( 5 am – 5 pm or 5 pm - 5 am)


Job tasks include:

1. Conduct routine analytical tests in support of the PPRD pilot plant operation. A variety of tests are performed on a 1-12 hour schedule, primarily for analysis of dry polyolefins resin.

2. Record test result in appropriate laboratory notebook and/or enter data in lab data collection system.

3. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment as needed

4. Work with customers to manage and complete any non-routine lab analysis needed.

5. Work in a shared work environment to ensure that all laboratory systems are operated and calibrated correctly.

3. Scientific Method: Can effectively follow defined procedures, interpret data, and identify problematic results for further investigation

4. Teamwork : Must be able to work effectively with co-workers to balance a changing workload. Must be able to take on their share of shared laboratory tasks such as maintenance, cleaning, etc.


Job Requirements:

1. Experience: Would prefer a minimum of two years in an industrial laboratory environment.

2. Degree: Would prefer a BS or BA degree in a technical field, although work experience will be considered as an alternative.

3. Must have familiarity with normal desktop computer operations (Word, Excel, etc)

4. Travel: No travel is expected

5. Other: Must be physically able to negotiate stairs and work on their feet for the majority of the day.

Must be able to handle objects up to 50 lbs, and demonstrate reasonable manual dexterity for operating analytical equipment.
